AEX index (Amsterdam Exchange Index) :
AEX = Amsterdam Exchange (Netherlands).
Netherlands stock market index composed of Dutch companies that trade on Euronext Amsterdam (Amsterdam Stock Exchange).
Started in 1983, the index is composed of a maximum of 25 of the most frequently traded securities on the exchange.
It started from a base level of 100 index points on 3 January 1983.

AMX index (Amsterdam Midkap Index, Midkap index, Midkap) :
Netherlands stock market index composed of Dutch companies that trade on Euronext Amsterdam (Amsterdam Stock Exchange).
It was started in 1995.
It is composed of the 25 funds that trade on the exchange and that rank 26-50 in size, the funds that rank 1-25 in size are represented in the AEX index.

AScX Index (Amsterdam Small Cap Index, Small Cap index, Small Cap) :
Netherlands stock market index composed of Dutch companies that trade on Euronext Amsterdam (Amsterdam Stock Exchange).
It was started in 2005.
It is composed of the 25 funds that trade on the exchange and that rank 51–75 in size.
The funds that rank 1–25 in size are represented in the AEX index and the funds that rank 26–50 in size are represented in the AMX index.

Netherlands Amsterdam Stock Exchange (AEX) = Euronext Amsterdam :
Currency: Euro (EUR).
Indices: AEX index (AEX25), AMX index (Midkap), AScX inde (Small Cap index).
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.
It merged on 22 September 2000 with the Brussels Stock Exchange and the Paris Stock Exchange to form Euronext.

Exchange contract code: FTI.
Trading platform: Optiq.

Contract size: Contract valued at € 200 per index point (e.g. value € 78,000 at 390.00).
Unit of trading: 200.
Pricing unit/quotation: Index points (e.g. 390.00).
Minimum price movement (tick size and value):
(1) Central Order Book: 0.05 index points (€ 10 per contract)
(2) Large-in-Scale Facility: 0.0001 index points (€0.02 per contract).

Settlement: Cash Settlement based on the EDSP.
Settlement day: First business day after the Last Trading Day.

Expiry months: 1, 2, 3 monthly; 6, 9, 12 months quarterly (of the March, June, September, December cycle).

Introduction of new expiry months: New expiry months are available for trading on the first business day after the expiry of a maturity.

Last trading day: Trading ceases at 16:00 CET on the third Friday of the delivery month.
In the event that the third Friday is not a business day, the Last Trading Day shall normally be the last business day preceding the third Friday.

Trading hours:
(1) Central Order Book: 08:00 - 22:00 CET
(2) Large-in-Scale Facility: 07:15 - 22:00 CET
(3-1) Day session: 07:15 - 18:30 : all trades will be cleared on the same day (T)
(3-2) Evening session: 18:30 - 22:00 : all trades will be cleared on the following business day (T+1).
