In 1897, Olds Motor Vehicle Company was founded (the company later became Oldsmobile, part of General Motors Corporation). In 1905, REO Motor Car Company was founded. In 1955, REO took over a tiny nuclear services company called Nuclear Consultants, Inc. renamed it Nuclear Corporation of America Inc..
